this lil skirt and ring are my most recent topshop buys - super cute and super cheap in the online sale !~ i love the brightness of this skirt, and its not the sort of thing i usually buy but i'm sooo glad i did. perfect preppiness.

aaaand this is my current hair colour !! its a really weird mix of shades tbh because i dyed it over still-partially-pale-green hair. like, its now got peachy bits, lavendery bits aND hot pink bits .. which is odd, but still cute because its like my little pony hair.

ADORABLE WU+WU ACCESSORIES !!! the lil jewelery tin came with some cute lil things like the necklace and ring. i love the makeup bag sooo much, i love LOVE this artist ugh. so cute. 

newly acquired films/cd. aristocats is a childhood favourite of mine, and i had never seen the life aquatic until the other night but wes anderson aLWAYS. i loved life aquatic - tbh i don't like bill murray (don't hate me pls), but there was enough of the lovely jeff goldblum, cate blanchett and owen wilson to balance that out (i have a massive crush on jeff goldblum).

also, salad days by the beautiful mac demarco … sigh. its just delicious. that's all i'll say.

today i cut my fringe super short, almost a la yolandi visser. here's what i wore;

the tee is diy and the skirt (though not very visible) is psycho dandy and was a gift.

this beautiful necklace is vintage and was given to me by maija. i love it <3

the lilac tights were a gift and the jellies are from primark.

looking concerned in my favourite coat. i don't know if i ever actually blogged about this coat, but i got it for £3 at a charity shop ages ago and it has served me well in being really warm as well as FABULOUS and a delicious hue of peachy pink.

^a super gross selfie but its kinda funny cus it illustrates how ridiculously tired i look/feel even when^ gifted with a rare lie-in.

in these pictures i am wearing my hello kitty barrettes and topshop dress again, boring i know. i was really cold today because i overestimated how summery the weather would be and didn't wear tights. 

this post was kind of more to show off the new ~*peachiness*~ of my hair! i used nearly a whole pot of directions pastel pink dye because it didn't come out pink enough the first couple of tries (i am new to this world of fun home hair colour ok), but i'm really happy with it now. i think next i will either go for lavender or pale green (a less minty shade than my fringe is now).

YAY FOR PASTEL HAIR! FINALLY!! 

gotta go and eat food and try to finish all my work now. (translation: eat LOTS of food and doodle and forget all about work)

first of all, its been aaages since any proper mention of my giveaway, right? so, I thought I'd show you all an in-progress page of the colour zine I'll be including in it. I've been working on new illustration styles inspired by grimes' art.

everything is kind of exciting right now, I guess ! although somehow music theory assignments keep sneaking up on me and I end up in a flustered rush of hatred to get them finished, I am LOVING college so much.

if you're a 1D fan u will be aware of 1D DAY right? well, I submitted a lil' ditty to the 1D day theme tune challenge (as you do). and… I got shortlisted!! I squealed sooo much when I read the email. I'm not expecting to win or anything but fingers crossed they might play it on 1D day!

anyway, I think thats enough excitement for one day. hopefully this longer post makes up for my INEXCUSABLE absences over recent times.
