i'm so happy we have a working scanner once more. i've been on a scanning spree (including scanning my face and hair to see how it would work; will post the results soon too ;3 )

i am really getting sick and tired of winter now. it seems like everyone i know is feeling some degree of winter blues and i just can't wait for it to be spring/summer. I have so many plans for this summer - although they all kind of blur into the main goal of BEING REALLY HAPPY AND HAVING A FUN TIME. winter is not fun anymore. although i did recently purchase a beautiful warm cardigan from a charity shop (it was £4 - i splashed out) and i wish i'd had it for the last few months because its heaven.

well, this post was done whilst procrastinating from organising my room so i'd better go and face that horror now.

first of all, its been aaages since any proper mention of my giveaway, right? so, I thought I'd show you all an in-progress page of the colour zine I'll be including in it. I've been working on new illustration styles inspired by grimes' art.

everything is kind of exciting right now, I guess ! although somehow music theory assignments keep sneaking up on me and I end up in a flustered rush of hatred to get them finished, I am LOVING college so much.

if you're a 1D fan u will be aware of 1D DAY right? well, I submitted a lil' ditty to the 1D day theme tune challenge (as you do). and… I got shortlisted!! I squealed sooo much when I read the email. I'm not expecting to win or anything but fingers crossed they might play it on 1D day!

anyway, I think thats enough excitement for one day. hopefully this longer post makes up for my INEXCUSABLE absences over recent times.

I like to cut the faces out of pictures of people and adding floral wallpaper backgrounds. I also pasted on a pressed flower that I found in one of my books (I press flowers and forget about them, which leads to mildly pleasant surprises every now and then)

today, I arrived home from school after boring mocks and rubbish things and rain to find that the postman had stopped by... and delivered these AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL pictures/sticker by nana! two of the prints are of patrick wolf (mmmmmm), and one is a sticker with a pretty-magical-spooky day of the dead girl (shown in the link above) on it. they are incredible and soon to be adorning my bedroom and baritone ukulele case proudly. thankyou nana!~

my photos are rubbish, but I think it's obvious how crazy talented this gal is.

so today had a nice turnout.
